A proud Iowan, born and raised in Pleasant Hill and Altoona. I grew up attending Southeast Polk schools and later continued my education at Grand View University, DMACC, and Iowa State. Athletics have always played a big role in my life. I competed in both collegiate soccer and rugby but my true passion has always been health and fitness.
Since 2016, I’ve been a full-time personal trainer, working with a diverse range of clients throughout the Des Moines area. Along the way, I’ve competed in bodybuilding and cross-training events, constantly striving to grow both personally and professionally so I can better serve others on their fitness journey.
I joined the gym in 2020 immediately knew this gym was different. The energy, the grit, and especially the community made it feel like home. That connection inspired me to earn my Level 1 Certification and begin coaching in 2020.
Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to carry on the legacy of what is now 327 Fitness. My goal is simple: to create a space where people of all fitness levels feel empowered, supported, and part of something bigger. Whether you're here to build strength, improve your health, or find a motivating community—we’re here for it, and we’re here for you.
Welcome to 327 Fitness. Let’s get to work.
Brad and Brandy Horton have been part of the 327 community for over a decade, including five years as gym owners. Originally from Norwalk, they moved to Altoona 12 years ago and have called the east side home ever since. Married for 25 years, they have two sons, a granddaughter, and a love for traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Fitness has always played a central role in their lives. Both are passionate about health and fitness and have recently taken on new challenges like HYROX competitions, triathlons, and half marathons. Brad, a former Iowa State wrestler, has years of experience coaching fitness classes, baseball, and wrestling. Brandy joined the coaching staff in April 2024 and brings her own energy and dedication to the 327 team.
Ronald Harmon is a Pleasant Hill native who’s been a part of the 327 community for nine years and coaching for one. A former baseball and hockey player, he’s always loved staying active. Outside the gym, he enjoys life with his wife and two kids and brings a steady, encouraging vibe to every class.
Meet Sabra Kuban, one of our coaches at 327. Originally from California, Sabra moved to Iowa with her husband in 2016 and joined 327 in early 2025 after instantly feeling the warmth and community at a few Saturday classes. She’s been doing cross-training since 2017 and says the inclusiveness and energy at 327 continue to impress her—whether coaching or working out alongside members. When she’s not in the gym, you’ll likely find her serving with DMFD, walking her dog, or relaxing with a good book.
Becca Agnitsch has been part of the 327 community for nearly six years. She’s especially passionate about Olympic lifts and thrives on any workout that brings a little healthy competition. Outside the gym, you’ll find her staying active with her family and enjoying time outdoors. As a mom, Becca is driven to lead by example—showing her kids that with effort and grit, they can do hard things.
